Update on the Great Law School challenge:

Denied by my top school (no surprise there)

But I’ve now been accepted to 14 schools

with rather wonderful amounts of fiscal aid

Still waiting on 11 schools and waiting to hear on aid from 6 of the acceptances.

huzzah.

I’m 9 for 9 on law schools.

Also, if I added up the net worth of all my merit scholarships (only 5 have given me their fiscal verdict so far), I would have more money than my family’s home is worth. Squeaker.

Now If only I could get my thesis act together, life would be perfect.

Full tuition scholarship….

meaning over $40,000 a year……

and all I have to do to maintain it is keep a 3.0.

Ironically the scholarship I just received has the same name of another school I applied to, so I opened the letter from one school and was greeted with stationary with the name of another scrawled across the top. Law School inception.

I just got into Washington & Lee

which is ranked 30th in the country, fairly cheap, and great about loans.

I’m crying and laughing at the same time. I’m the stereotype of a mental breakdown portrayed by every bad actress ever. Omg.

I just got $90,000 in merit based aid…..

I might end up a Chicago Girl.

Fatigue, unpleasant scholastic emails, and A FREAKIN HUGE SCHOLARSHIP TO UCONN!!!!!!!!! I could go to law school for less than I’m paying for undergrad….

I got into law school!

With moneys! Possibly full moneys!!!!! But I shall not know how much moneys for sure until early April. Thus I have no idea on whether or not I’ll be attending this law school. It’s also the first response out of over twenty. But unexpected win!!!!!!!!!!
